OptiFine 1.4.6 Mod Installation for Minecraft 1.4.6

for easy installations get Magic Launcher

Windows/Linux Instructions:

1. Locate your minecraft.jar file. On Windows, it’s in %APPDATA%/.minecraft/bin
2. Create a backup of minecraft.jar
3. Open minecraft.jar in an archive editor (WinRar/7-Zip/etc)
4. Delete the META-INF folder.
5. Copy the .class files from the downloaded zip file into the jar file, replacing previous files.
6. Run Minecraft and test!

OptiFine 1.4.6 Mod Mac Instructions:

1. Locate your minecraft.jar file. On Mac, it’s in/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin
2. Create a backup of minecraft.jar
3. rename minecraft.jar to minecraft.zip and double-click it to extract the contents
4. rename the resulting folder to minecraft.jar and open it
5. copy the .class files from the downloaded zip into the minecraft.jar folder, replacing previous files

Cara Install mod di Minecraft

Sebagai seorang pengguna komputer yang normal, gw juga suka main games, salah satunya Minecraft. Minecraft adalah game sandbox yang mensimulasikan diri kita sebagai character bernama Steve, salah satu hal yang paling digemari oleh para pemain minecraft adalah karena minecraft dengan mudah dapat diisi dengan mod (tambahan dalam suatu game) sebernarnya meng-install mod untuk minecraft itu cukup mudah, caranya juga bermacam macam mulai dari yang simple sampe yang cukup ribet. Kali ini gw akan ngebahas gimana caranya nginstall mod buat pengguna Windows 7 & XP.Bagi yang suka hal hal simple bisa menggunakan MCPatcher atau Minecraft Magic Launcher, dan bagi yang suka hal yang agak ribet tidak perlu mendownload program apapun, mari kita mulai.

Cara 1 (MCPatcher):

1. Download MCPatcher di sini :  http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/232701-12w36a-132-125-etcupdate-96-mcpatcher-hd-fix-242-03/
2. Letakkan di desktop
3. Buka MCPatcher, tunggu MCPatcher selesai meng-analisis minecraft dan membuat backup
4. Klik tombol Patch
5. Klik tanda +
6. Pilih file mod berjenis ZIP yang akan ditambahkan ke dalam game. (MCPatcher tidak dapat menerima file berjenis .RAR dan jangan mendelete file yang sudah ditambahkan ke dalam game)
7. Klik tombol Patch.
8. Klik tombol Test jika ingin mengetest Minecraft apakah sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Beberapa kelebihan dari MCPatcher ini adalah karena mod installer ini berisi mod bawaan yaitu HD Textures, HD Font, Random Mobs, Custom Colors, Connected Textures, dan Better Skies yang biasanya diperlukan untuk beberapa texture pack.

Cara 2 (Magic Launcher): 

1. Download Magic Launcher di sini :  http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/939149-launcher-magic-launcher-099-mods-options-news/ 
2. Letakkan di desktop
3. Buka Magic Launcher
4. Klik Setup
5. Klik Add
6. Pilih file mod yang akan ditambahkan ke dalam game
7. Klik Test untuk mengetest Minecraft / Klik OK untuk kembali ke menu utama (login) Minecraft

Kelebihan dari Magic Launcher ini adalah jika suatu mod membutuhkan mod tambahan seperti Minecraft Forge, Minecraft Client API maka Magic Launcher akan memberikan peringatan, selain itu Magic Launcher juga akan memberitahu jika ada error atau ketidak sesuaian dalam suatu mod dengan minecraft yang akan kita jalankan.

Cara 3 (Application Free):

1. Klik Start
2. Di bagian "Search programs and files" tulis %appdata%
3. Klik Roaming > .minecraft > bin
4. Buka minecraft.jar dengan Winrar / 7zip / Winzip / dsb
5. Buka file mod yang akan diinstal
6. Pindahkan isi file mod ke minecraft.jar (PERHATIAN : BUATLAH BACKUP MINECRAFT.JAR SEBELUM MEMINDAHKAN FILE MOD !!!) 
7. Bukaalah minecraft untuk mengetest

Nah, karena banyak orang yang nanya-nanya, gw akan men-share sedikit gimana caranya meng-instal Mod dan Texture Pack di Minecraft.

Yang pertama harus dilakukan adalah download MCPatchernya.

Download MCPatcher disini :  For Windows atau For Other Platform

(Note: Kalo merasa gambarnya agak kecil, di klik aja gambarnya)

MOD TUTORIAL

1. Download Mod yg diinginkan



2. Buka MCPatcher



3. Buka tab Mods, pilih Add...



4. Pilih .rar ato .zip file mod yang udah di download



5. Klik ok



6. Klik ok



7. Pastikan mod yang ingin di-install sudah ter-checklist, kemudian klik Patch.



8. Selamat bermain!



TEXTURE PACK TUTORIAL

1. Download Texture Pack yang diinginkan



2. Buka MCPatcher



3. Pastikan yang ditandai sudah ter-checklist



4. Klik Patch



5. Buka Minecraft, dan piih Texture Packs



6. Klik Open texture pack folder



7. Copas Texture Pack yang didownload kedalam folder nya.



8. Dan sekarang anda sudah bisa memilih Texture Pack yang udah di-install di Minecraft-nya
